The property is close to the beach area where the fisherman come in which has pros/cons; there is limited parking onsite but it's a long way from the parking to the hotel room and it's uphill all the way which is a problem for many. The pool is right in front of the hotel so exiting the hotel is always past the pool area that didn't seem to be used very much while we were there. Staff was great, but you never see the inside hotel area, because they register you right in the parking area--never saw the inside of the hotel the entire time we were there. Is there one?? We were to have breakfast included but they didn't mention it and we did have to ask about it the next day. They contract with a restaurant across from the hotel, so there is only the beach "cafe" available for food. No place to get ice at the hotel. No information inside the hotel to let you know what's available. Outside the hotel you are on the rocky beach, not very big and all through the streets of Sayulita it's very dirty, noisy (from all the music and 4 wheelers/golf carts that take over the town) and overrun with the smell of MJ and people asking you if you want to buy some--food is very overpriced and the infrastructure has not kept up with the crowds that come here. I would not recommend this area as a family getaway.

We paid $1,000 to stay an extra night we changed our flights and paid top dollar for one more night at the hotel. We paid more for our last night that we paid for any of the nights we stayed the previous week. On our last night it was important for us to enjoy our time seeing as though we paid so much to say one more night. The power went out in our entire room. We spent two hours in the room in darkness not able to even change into other clothes because we couldn't see anything. We missed our dinner reservations and then they said they had another room available for us this was up for flights of stairs and we had to leave all of our belongings and are old room in this room was not as nice as our last room we had nothing of Our Own and most of our night was already taken up by this ordeal. I requested that they comp our last night's day because of all of this that had happened. They said they talked to management and would not be doing that. I think this is absolutely ridiculous our whole night was ruined and then the whole next morning we had to spend going to our other room in packing which we wanted to do the night before. It's very unfortunate when a hotel is not willing to rectify something this big.

Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The folks at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so easy. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. We had absolutely no issues! We rented a golf cart on site one day to get to a wedding nearby in our high heels, but other than that, Hotel Ysuri was very close to town and many local beaches so we were able to walk. As two women traveling alone, we cannot emphasize how safe we felt at all times in town and around the property. We cannot wait to come again and spend more time here.

Ysuri was fabulous! We had an executive suite with two rooms and a wonderful view from the 5th floor. The staff were so kind and helpful. I wouldn't change a thing and we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful stay

The staff are wonderful and we felt comfortable during our stay. We could see the ocean from our balcony. Absolutely loved the hot tub and being able to glance at the ocean while we were out there. The hotel is close enough to walk to the town center while still distant enough to feel relaxed and rejivented

Terrible! We stayed for 4 nights and had to change rooms after the first night because they booked the room we were originally in to someone else for the other 3 nights. Then, they say they charge an insane amount for any stains on the sheet and make you sign a sheet at checkin, but when we got to our room, the sheets were dirty and stained. Terrible customer service, dirty and super inconvenient to have to change rooms during a stay. Also, hard to get around with a stroller because only stairs.

beautiful rooms overlooking ocean. Staff very nice and helpful. Is not a 24 hr desk so if there is an issue at night, can be a problem. Noise from other rooms can be loud at times. That said, great place to stay near the beach.

GREAT VIEW HOTEL IN BEST LOCATION

Loved hotel Ysuri. We booked the jr suite with jacuzzi on the terrace and I really enjoyed the tub while enjoying the awesome view of the ocean. Eli at the front desk was awesome. Be aware that the hotel has no elevator so I suggest booking a low floor
