The air conditioner did not work in our room made running noise but no air was circulating in the room. It was after hours on the first night, went down to the front desk, very nice staff offered to call in the maintenance but it was late, and I had small children. They gave me a fan as the hotel was fully bookedl. the next day it was still not fixed. Upon check out I mentioned it and they tried to give me a discount, however my card was charged the full amount. One of my little ones spilled hot tea on the floor, a towel was grabbed to clean it up, and the towel was black with dirt out of the carpet.

I did not have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. However, being a bit of a clean freak, I did notice how dirty the hallway carpet was. My room appeared to be clean. The shower soap and shampoo smelled very nice.

Hotel hallways were filthy. In the shower the shelf was hanging off the wall. In the elevator the ceiling was caving in. This hotel was dirty and was not well maintained, I would recommend avoiding it if possible

The breakfast item selection was above my expectations. Nothing compares to the other hotels l’ve stayed in. The bathroom was clean and better than most other hotels

This must be an old Hampton Inn. I have always considered Hampton Inn a higher quality hotel than Comfort Inn or Quality Inn but this was not the case. The hotel was relatively clean but the sheets were dingy and did not stay on the bed. There also appeared to be old blood stains on the side of the mattress protector. It is worth the drive staying at the Hampton Inn in Wytheville just a short drive down the road.

We like Hilton properties because they always have a high standard that we like? I have no idea how this property has a Hilton sign on front desk? This place is by far the worse hilton property in North America. How Hilton allows this property to advertise is beyond me! Where to start? Arrival they put me in a room that is completely ransacked? Completely destroyed from furniture thrown on floor to beds upside down? Get a new room and abit better but still a disaster! The door would not even lock? The ac doesn’t work, stat doesn’t work. Just a complete dump. I rent hotels on name recognition. This is horrible, think next time before renting a Hilton!
