The roooms have clearly not been updated, but they are comfortable and spacious. The beach was beautiful, as were the pools on both the adult and family side. I am a vegan, and there were more than enough food choices for me. The hotel staff was kind and accommodating. I stayed at a nearly brand new resort last time I was in the DR, but Barceló Bávaro Beach was a better location. They took excellent care of the beach. I definitely recommend this resort

Our stay was outstanding. Check-in with Imaranyes in Premium Beach Level was a surprise. She treated us like special guest the entire stay. Any small issues that we had was addressed within minutes. The entire resort that spot on 5-stars.

I loved the staff, and really everything you could want from an all inclusive was very accessible. They had a trolly which took you all over the hotel . As well as honestly one of prettiest beach fronts out there
