Overall the resort itself is nice. Great amenities for families such has water parks and kid centers. The room had a toilet that didn’t flush and we had to call maintenance to our room every time so one used the bathroom. After two days we finally got a room change. Full service restaurants were good but both adults got food poisoning from the food buffet.

We stayed at this hotel with 2 kids, aged 3 & 4. We had a good time but we weren't impressed and didn't consider this hotel a 5 star as it's rated. It's closer to 3 stars. We stayed at the Family Club Hotel, as it was supposed to be better suited for small children. The rooms are absolutely not safe for little kids. Every element in the room is sharp. The stairs have jagged edges. The corners are sharp and unsafe. The bathroom tile is pretty slippery and so is the tile on the patio portion. We're coming back with many bruises and nicks. As the room is open between the main bed area and the children's bedbunk, we were hoping the bed and doors would be quieter, but everything creeked and cracked and it was impossible to be quiet while the kids slept. The food was very mediocre. Super fried, pretty bland, very very oily. Overall, we won't be coming back to this place and leave somewhat disappointed in the experience.

Amenities were top notch. Positives: Not a long ride from the airport. Property trolley, numerous food options, day and night events, shopping on site, staff all excellent. Able to book excursions on site. I will return and recommend. Next time I will not pack as much. Negatives: not muxh. I'd add a full length mirror on the wall next to the bathroom and a cpl of adult only hot tubs.

The room was great for our family of four with extra beds for the kids. Staying at the family resort came with extra perks of beach toys and towel bag for the stay. They provide room slippers which came in handy because we ended up finding broken glass in our room after the first day of housekeeping, which was a disappointment when they sent a handy man to check for broken glass in the showers. Also, after I hand checked myself and found a total of 3 pieces. The amenities for the kids were great with water park and a kids club. If your looking for many food options i find this very limited compared to other resorts and the free wifi was very weak even in the rooms. A la carte Restaurants included in our all inclusive required booking thru their site but with poor wifi it made it impossible to book.

The food was disappointing, the buffets have like 4 different stations where they serve the same 5 foods , every day no variety of food . Food dont have any flavor. And the reservation restaurant are no different in flavor and they take so long to serve a small amount of food.

Starting by the good part: The hotel is nice in term of infrastructure specially for families with small kids. The beach was nice and the rooms renovated. Now moving for the standard part: The food (including the restaurants with reservation for dinners) is between low & average (nothing fancy or special to be honest) which is a little bit disappointing for a 5 start all inclusive. And finishing with the areas of improvement: The worse part was the service specially at the restaurants, all the waiters were very rude, with no interest at all to attend people. In my case in more than 25 years visiting all type of hotels for leisure or work (at least once per month), I truly don't remember a hotel with such a bad service....it seems that the staff do it on purpose to disappoint people.
