Enjoy direct canal access for endless fun on the Peace River when you book this inviting family retreat. Nestled in a quiet community, the home offers a neighborly welcome for your next holiday. Popular among kayakers, jet skiers, and boaters alike due to its direct Gulf access, the Peace River is a year-round favorite for water recreation. Large, white sand beaches and sand bars that naturally occur along the river provide the perfect spot to relax for awhile while out cruising. The sandy bottom is also a hotbed of sharks' teeth. In the winter months, manatees will swim upriver for warmer waters. You'll have your choice of gorgeous Gulf beaches to explore with several just a short drive from the home, including Englewood Beach (30 mi.), Venice Beach (34 mi.), Siesta Key Beach (48 mi.), Ft. Myers Beach (53 mi.), and Naples Beach (72 mi.). Punta Gorda's downtown offers plenty of entertainment closer to home with tons of great bars, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife less than 10 miles away. The Fishermans Village waterfront area features great shops, breweries, and off-shore charter services.

The screened porch boasts scenic water views overlooking the canal and comes furnished for outdoor leisure or entertainment with features including patio seating and a Ping-Pong table. Interior shelf lighting creates an ambient atmosphere throughout the household living areas and the primary bedroom. Smart TVs let you stream all your favorite shows and movies when you're ready for some casual downtime. Home essentials include a well-appointed full kitchen, central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Security camera details: Ring doorbell at the front door and at every corner of the property covering the perimeter.

Dock details: Guests can use the 12 ft dock to stand, sit, or fish. Due to multiple factors beyond Vacasa's control, we cannot guarantee a safe docking of any water crafts. The depth of the water can range from 0-5ft and on average is 3ft allowing only small John boats with small hulls access. DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
