Service was slow. Would have to ask several time to get water or other drinks. The life guards where not very nice. Can’t even splash in the pool with the kids. Was told to just stand or sit. And the elite upgrade is not worth anything. Would not recommend. And everything is an extra charge. The Italian restaurants. Food was horrible.

This resort is by far my favorite one in Playa Mujeres. Its modern design is very pleasing to the eye and it caters very well to both families and adults. The splash pad, family pool and the beach had excellent waiter service. Delicious food and service did not disappoint!

Really enjoyed our 4 day stay at this new hotel. The staff does an amazing job, making you feel welcome all the time. Installations are new and clean, dining options were all really good. The layout is perfect so you never have to walk for to far to get to your room, beach, pool, gym or restaurants. I would say this resort is rather quiet, so perfect of relax

The food here was nasty and inedible. The staff were so so sweet and attentive but the reality is this is a new hotel so I expected clean rooms and ours was not. I also had high hopes for an SLS property but the rooms didn’t even have q-tips or other toiletries. The pool food was horrible and the breakfast buffet was just as bad. The calamari was like biting into stale rubber even the guacamole was flavorless with stale chips. The restaurants were ok but even then, hair in our dessert, dirty cups for water. It lacked effort. The coffee shop was also not great and neither was the juice bar. Everything tasted watered down. Again, the staff was so sweet and incredible but the food and cleanliness wasn’t there so I don’t think I’d be back.

The design and decor of this resort is beautiful. The adult pool was amazing Many of the restaurants had wonderful food. Great cocktails as well. The rooms are beautiful and large. I think this resort needs to clarify its identity. I thought it catered more to adults but there were more families and kids. Too many kids at restaurants that took away from adult vibe. Kids were in bar areas and at casino night tables which was odd.

This property was great with amazing food and cocktails. I am disappointed with the fact that this is a luxury resort and they served $5.99 wine. This is definitely not luxury and was difficult to drink. They tried to upsell wine at most dinners. Most of those wines on the list were “okay “, not luxury. I looked forward to delicious meals everyday. Breakfast was underwhelming. Lunch at Twiggy and Cleo was fantastic. Steak house was over rated in my opinion and I never tried the Asian restaurant. The resort seems to mainly cater to families with children and babies. The adult pool was fun and relaxing. Overall, I enjoyed my vacation at SLS.
