We booked on hotels.com but communication was through Expedia. We got no check in instructions and waited over an hour in lobby until I found a Spanish shaking employee who called our contact for us.

I would strongly advice against prepaying for lodging here, as it leaves you with no recourse if something goes wrong. I was reimbursed $140. Which felt like a token gesture for the poor experimence. I'm sure i could have found a more reputable hotel had i known what I was getting. I was given a dorm room with no person on sight to help with issues. Live and learn.

We loved this property. It was a large room and clean! The refrigerator was nice and the Keurig coffee wonderful! They even provided cream and sugar. The only negative is the parking situation. They did warn there was no parking on the premises but we had to park pretty far away. Otherwise it was a great experience!

The room was great, clean, quiet. The location was perfect. My only complaint is that the bed creaked so much, so when my husband got up in the middle of the night he woke both me and my children up.

It was an automated hotel but suited our needs just fine. Being in Old Quebec City it was very authentic. Close to all the touristy areas, very walkable. Would recommend for the experience.

Overall it was an okay stay. I felt like I was just paying for the location as the hotel didn’t itself didn’t feel like it was worth the amount I was spending per night. The room was okay but climbing three flights of stairs every time got old fast. I liked the idea of staying in a historic building but the room itself wasn’t really special in any way. In terms of cleanliness I was expecting better. I found hairs on the throw pillow and on the shower curtain that weren't mine. I also stayed there for five nights and the room didn’t get cleaned at any point.

Perfect location

Perfect location!! The only drawback to our entire stay was the circular staircase. We had packed for 10 days including a cruise and our heavy bags we a challenge to navigate the stairs. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Unfortunately this was not one of our better accommodations. We are both elderly with health issues so being on a third floor walk up was very difficult. My fault I guess for not asking. They did replace the broken coffee maker and got us the remote we needed for the tv. Satelite reception kept getting stuck. They did bring clean towels on the first morning but no staff returned for the next 3 mornings. The shower needs to be fixed. We had a good bed and air conditioning was appreciated It certainly was convenient to the downtown and the citadel.

La estadĂ­a nos decepcionĂł mucho. A pesar de estar bien ubicado, el albergue no estĂĄ en buenas condiciones. La propiedad es vieja y requiere mantenimiento. AdemĂĄs, las habitaciones son chicas y con poca iluminaciĂłn, excepto las que dan al frente. Es un albergue automĂĄtico, asĂ­ que todo (absolutamente todo) se maneja por telĂ©fono. Por Ășltimo, la relaciĂłn precio calidad es realmente mala. Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.
