Clean room. Excellent staff. Only thing I didnt like were the 24 stairs that had to use to get from the entrance to the lobby. The breakfast buffett was medicore. Overall a great experience

The property is beautiful. The restaurant was excellent. There were two glaring issues. 1) There are 20 stairs at the entrance which made it very difficult for my older parents to enter the hotel. 2) we entered our room at 10:00 and heard loud music coming from across the street. I called the front desk to ask them to resolve the noise issue from a neighboring establishment. I was told they called and it would be resolved. It wasn’t. I called again at 11:30, I was told by a more upset front desk person that he had called and the music was off. It wasn’t, and in fact got louder. At 1:30am, there were person shouting in the street outside our room while the music blared. I call again and was told again by the same person that the music was off. In the morning, I spoke to a new person at the front desk who told me the knight lets on kept calling the wrong place. If you stay, make sure you are in a room not near the street!

When I walked in, I thought it was kind of funky. I now realize even the number one hotel in town didn’t have a grand entrance. The location is great, so I’ll excuse a little funkiness. Food was pretty good, I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel but…

This was our splurge hotel traveling across Canada. The hotel is quite nice and the employees were all great. The room itself was very comfortable. The restaurant associated with the hotel was exceptional. I’d love to given it a 5 except for the following: There is a long staircase to get in to the hotel. Not a huge issue unless you have a lot of luggage and/or bikes (as we did). The staff is super accommodating but felt bad requiring their assistance. Our room was on the level above a busy street. There was loud music played until 11 pm both nights we were there. The first morning was garbage day and maybe street cleaning starting around 6 am. I’d recommend the hotel but ask for a room away from the busy street.

This is a premium property in the heart of everything with close proximity to the best shops and restaurants, only niggle is there was only one elevator in operation at the time but that should be remedied soon. Fabulous front desk and awesome restaurant.

Fantastic location - could walk everywhere! Very safe area and great eateries were close-by. Helpful and courteous staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great to have a fridge. Only issue was the air conditioning was very cold and did not turn off when set on auto. Note that you need to walk up 25 steps from the entrance to get to the lobby - may be tough if you have heavy luggage. Highly recommended hotel! Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location in that it is walking distance to everything and just around the corner from a main restaurant and shopping area with lots of activity. It’s is beautifully renovated and modern inside with a Michelin restaurant on site. And, this may sound crazy, but they have the most AMAZING scent when you walk in the door. We were obsessed! The staff is friendly and bilingual. Unfortunately, There are some homeless people that hang around the shopping area, but they are harmless. My only complaint about the hotel room is that they have nice Nespresso machines in the room, but the cups are too little to hold the coffee, so you need to have an extra cup to switch out so the coffee doesn’t spill over. Also, I somehow missed the fact and was shocked to learn that they charge for parking, which seems ridiculous for a hotel.
