We stayed at this hotel for two days and we had a great time. The room and the bathroom were very clean and spotless. The view from the balcony of the room was fantastic. The bar and restaurant had a fabulous siting area. Plenty of wildlife around. We had capuchin and squirrel monkeys visit us in the mornings. The staff were very friendly. My wife had a great massage in house by a fantastic masseuse, Wendolyn Serrano Vega. She is highly recommended if you’re interested.

The views are spectacular and you can see Toucans, Macaws and other beautiful birds without trying. My room was lovely and bed very comfortable, great shower. Breakfast is basic. Staff were very nice and provide golf cart to take you from the entrance to the hotel when you need it.

Loved our stay!! we got the room with mountain view and the balcony. The property is really beautiful with both ocean and mountain view. We enjoyed our breakfast with ocean view. The 7AM guided tour (free tour provided by Hotel within their property) was amazing!! We saw monkeys, sloth, Iguana, Red eye frog eggs and learnt about few local trees. I would recommend this hotel

What a truly great hotel AND experience! The hotel is wonderful and the views all around are stunning. It’s its own nature tour with paths and a zip line and bridge. You will see monkeys, sloths, iguanas and so many more all over the place! The staff….WOW! They’re all wonderful, helpful, friendly and so personable! They have great suggestions and help to set up tours and provide really good options for things to do in town. The restaurant and bar are a joy to spend time in while eating fantastic food! Don’t hesitate to book there. Don’t look at other options. Do yourself a favor and stay there! This hotel is tops!

The hotel is located on top of the mountain park, the whole park is very eco-friendly, you are surrounded by lots of plants and animals. Guests can enjoy the free morning guided walk tour, the room mountain view is remarkable, 15 minutes driving to Manuel Antonio park, love this place!

Our room was separate from the main building, so it was a bit inconvenient having to walk up steep road or trail. Our balcony was very small that one can only stand in it; a chair cannot fit. The staff was awesome. The location was perfectly secluded. We saw more sloths at the hotel property than at the national park. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Mountain Top Park. We had the corner room with the wraparound balcony, and the view was 10/10. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and were so helpful. It was lovely eating breakfast every morning while watching monkeys play in the trees, and then closing out the day with happy hour, watching the sun slip into the Pacific.

I loved the hotel, everything I love, nature, wildlife, amenities, nice views. No pool but the beach it's very close. Definitely my only reason to come back to Costa Rica. 😍 I went to Manuel Antonio National Park and only saw a monkey, at the hotel I enjoyed so much the walking, the hanging breaches. the macaws, the monkeys even saw a mom with a baby, toucans, an sloth on one of the hanging breaches they have no need to pay a guide to see the wildlife. I definitely recommend this hotel, the breakfast was good, service excellent!

Unfortunately we had just arrived in Costa Rica and drove there, arriving to the hotel after 10:30 pm. The digital keypad did not work. We tried many times, messaged, texted to let them know the code was not correct and we could not get into our room. We were not able to get in touch with anyone. We even contacted Hotels.com; they were not able to contact anyone as well. We sat for hours in the open space lounge area; hearing all the wildlife and monkeys; nervous, tired, upset. After much help from Hotels.com - Kharisma; she was able to find another hotel that was open and had a room for the three of us. We were very disappointed in that fact that we were not able to stay there; as we were so looking forward to it! Additionally there was a couple arguing loudly and the woman crying. It didn’t sound like a good situation. I have not been to a hotel where there was no overnight staff, security or someone to help in case of an emergency; especially in a hotel located in the middle of the jungle. Super disappointing and I felt; bad business. As mentioned before we want to extend a special shout out to Kharisma; from Hotels.com. She was our angel! She went above and beyond … and even helped us get connected with her when the WiFi dropped. She should get a special recognition and bonus. Outstanding professional through and through.

The staff was wonderful. We did go to happy hour the second night. The bartender was awesome. I asked about the happy hour cookies. Since there were none, he brought us the most incredible cheese cake that his wife made. All staff were great. Available when needed. Just send a WhatsAp message.
