Podere Pietreta is a large 18th century stone farmhouse which has recently undergone a meticulous and passionate restoration, carried out preserving the architectural details and using only original materials.
The farm is located on a hill, in a position of exceptional beauty, within the natural and artistic park of the Val d'Orcia. A three-hectare park surrounds the farm, which includes the panoramic swimming pool (6x12 metres), the olive grove, the parking lot and the belvedere.

At guests' disposal 3 large apartments of different sizes, 2 delightful double bedrooms and a beautiful independent house - also in stone - which has just been renovated.
All the apartments are characterized by good taste and warmth, are equipped with a fireplace and elegantly furnished with period furniture. The kitchens are in hand-worked stone, the bedrooms are embellished with many small paintings made with the ancient lace and embroidery that belonged to the owners' grandmothers.
We have not neglected to equip the apartments with all the comforts: satellite television, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, independent heating, hairdryer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower.

In front of the entrance to each room and apartment, a large exclusive space has been reserved, equipped with table, chairs, umbrella and private barbecue, where guests can have their meals while enjoying the beautiful panorama. Free wireless (Wi-Fi) and wired Internet connection is active.

To safeguard the tranquility of the guests, Pietreta does not have a restaurant inside the structure, but two of the best typical restaurants in the area (just 2 km away) offer customers of Podere Pietreta a complete à la carte meal at very special prices.

Podere Pietreta is the ideal starting point for short-range excursions (30/60 minutes) to some of the most attractive places in Tuscany: Radicofani, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chiusi, Cetona, San Casciano Bagni, Arezzo, Siena…...
In 20 minutes you are in the woods of Monte Amiata, Umbria is half an hour away by car.

Another absolutely exceptional feature is the presence, no more than 30 minutes away, of numerous spas among the most renowned: the Terme di San Casciano, the pools of Sarteano, Bagni San Filippo, the hydrothermal complexes of Chianciano etc.

The Val d'Orcia also represents a precious food and wine destination: it is located in the heart of the Chianti and Montepulciano DOCG area, it is the homeland of pici, pasture meats, forest mushrooms and exceptional cheeses, fruit of competition between local traditions and the recent additions of Sardinian sheep farming…
