The Grand Pavilion was a standout—offering an astonishing spread of over 200 dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s a dream come true for any food enthusiast. We also indulged in the refined flavors of Dum Pukht and Peshawri, and enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of the Tea Lounge. All of these are located within ITC Sonar, which is conveniently connected to Royal Bengal via an internal corridor. Another highlight was the guest lounge, open from 6 to 8 PM. It’s a cozy spot to unwind with complimentary drinks and a selection of finger foods—perfect for a pre-dinner hangout or a casual evening chat. My parents recently spent ten days at the Taj Bengal and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making them feel right at home. Highly recommend!

The stay was good, although some aspects of the property are expectedly old (probably by design). Otherwise, it was a good stay and the staff were very helpful.
