"Amenities" and other stuff

A $25/day charge is added to your room rate for "amenities" and a $15/day charge for parking in the parking garage. Or, you can park on the street with a meter, and there's no charge from 11:00 pm to 7:00 a.m.!! There is no food in the fridge nor laying around, so not sure what "amenities" are and no one could answer the question either. The "complimentary" breakfast is $8 each, charged to your room. The eggs are "instant", the waffles are ok if you can get a hot one, the "French toast" was 1" x 1" x 3" bread strips and chewy, the pancakes are 4" but I could not cut them with a knife, so trashed them. If you have transportation, go to Perkins for their $6 breakfast. There is a TV guide on the remote. The tub is a very high step-over if you have leg issues. In the bar, margaritas are $15 and must be at least 4 oz ea, including room for the ice!! Recommend the Firehouse (2 blocks away) for their $10 frozen margaritas that are three times larger. Two elevators are necessary to move from the parking garage to your room floor. Internet is good. Reception, breakfast area and room hallways are very cold. Bring a jacket.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Easy access to many restaurants. Covered garage parking for about $15/night. Our room had a view of the parking garage which wasn’t ideal. I think many of the rooms in the 2nd floor were the same.

First they messed up the reservation and made us to stand in lobby with kids for nearly two and half hours for checkin, even though showing them the reservation confirmation. Coming to checkout was not allowed to leave the property as Expedia and Hyatt had payment issue for the reservation. Staff was very rude for. Checking threatening for actions if not paid for reservation

Terrible Experience

Like so many others, we were there 5 days, called the front and asked the front desk in person several times about getting new towels and our room cleaned and not once was this ever done. Finally dumped our own trash in the hallway garbage and took towels from an unattended cart in the hallway. With the AC running everything in the room was damp. It was by far the worst service I've received at any hotels in a long time.
