I didn’t like staff behavior at the reception and they deducted my 54 extra dollars after check out they are saying room was not cleaned and heat was not working when I requested them for change the room they didn’t I felt cold all night I am sick now they cut my 56 dollars extra now I am very sad reception staff are very rude

Did not honour the room rate I pre-booked.

I booked a room on hotels.ca for $74.70 + $6.73 for a total of $81.43 on March 11. On March 14 at check-in I was charged $98 plus $8.82 levy + gst for a total of $106.82. I am not impressed. I was told increasing the room rates was standard practise by the woman working the desk on Saturday morning. I explained I had pre-booked the room. She said you move people to more expensive rooms sometimes and there was nothing she could do. I will make it my mission in life to bad-mouth your motel at every event and market I attend in Red Deer (40+ events per year). I hope it was worth the $25 you stole from me and my small business.

I liked how the property was close to the Red Deer Dome, but I was disappointed at check in, when we got there they only had rooms for us on the second floor. With no elevators, we do not do stairs very well (we are seniors) and they offered us a room at much higher price on the main level. I was not impressed.

Great hotel but loud noise from highway.

Hotel was wonderful and desk staff were so helpful and kind. My only issue was the highway noise, not sure if it’s bad throughout the property, we were in room 2003 and could hear the highway LOUD all night. So didn’t get a lot of sleep. Otherwise this is a good hotel and would stay again requesting to stay on the back side of property :)

When we arrived the front desk had all the paperwork ready, keys ready, it took less than five minutes to check in, the person on the desk was very pleasant, explained everything clearly. Very pleased with this hotel will definitely stay here again.

Negative

First of all the front desk clerk was not dressed professionally and as he mismannerly rifled through 10 or so papers said he couldn't find our reservation. I showed my confirmation email and after about 10 minutes he found it. The Room We were given the key cards then proceeded to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel before we found our room. Now there is an outside access door that he could have told us about so that we could've driven our car around to park. Inside the room was freezing, the floor was tiled and no heat. My husband fiddled with the base heater but it just didn't seem to want to warm up. Well an hour and a half later we called the front desk and he showed up right away and turned a different switch. It warmed up a bit more but still unsatisfactory. Checkout was fantastic other than very low staffed so we had to wait 1/2hr.
