The staff was great. The room was OK, except for the outdated furniture. The bathroom was tiny and the tub was in need of caulking. We had an upstairs room and the stairs were uneven. Three different riser heights. The balcony walkway was very narrow and had chairs that made it difficult to walk down.

Our stay at Mountain View lodge was amazing!! The room was clean, so cute and comfortable!! The shower had the best hot water and water pressure! Could have stayed in there for hours! It was quiet and peaceful. The communication was very detailed and we had zero problems! Would absolutely stay there again!!

The owner obviously did not remember reaponding to our request of a downstairs room that we wanted the reservation to run together. He harrassed me with numerous calls and text even after we checked out without staying ONE night. The worst experience we have EVER had. I have never been harrassed by a property owner because he forgot to keep us in the same room. We drove all night and checked in at 7:00 a.m for him to call and say we needed to move to a different room!! It was terrible!!

It was very pet friendly. Our only issue was the stairs. My husband has to use a walker or a cane so that was an issue. He has just recently started oxygen and the machine is very heavy . I totally forgot about having that darn thing having to accompany us but we managed, We are in our 80s or it wouldn't have been an issue.
