Check-in was easy and convenient. The recent upgrades to the rooms were apparent and much appreciated. There is still work to be done around the exterior, but this will be a great place to stay once all the renovations are completed!

No vending machines. Located in a town that shuts down by 8pm. Got woke up at 4:45am to the neighbors cooking something that smelt like something horrible. The nicest part of this stay was the showers and the view but not the property itself

Great time at the Ponderosa Lodge Red River

Red River is a small town and all restaurants close by night. We hit a snow diving in so we didn’t make it in time to eat dinner. The owner offered us a large pizza he had. Was probably one the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. They are remodeling but the rooms were great. Would recommend 100%

Management was very thoughtful and accommodating; we received excellent service even during a busy and sold out weekend. They are renovating the property and we stayed in one of the upgraded rooms - it was very clean and comfortable! Would gladly stay again.

Secret treasure

Don't let the outside scare you. The building is old and they are renovating but the rooms are amazing. Clean, comfortable, and upscale. Well worth the price

Location is perfect for ski in and ski out at Red River Mtn and dining options. Currently doing reconstruction, but rooms were very clean and new. Staff was great and did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable and trouble free
