The room was very dirty. As soon as I got in I took a facecloth and washed all of the light switches and lamp knobs I had to touch. I would not let company sit on the couch in the room because it was stained and very dirty looking. So whenever people came they sat on the bed which made things difficult. I looked behind the couch and there was a large amount of dust, hair, debris, and a few chip bags. This was the same behind/under any piece of furniture in the room. On top of doors, mirrors, headboard was large thick layer of dust. I placed towels on every surface that I needed to set things on - everything was dirty. I went out and bought lysol wipes (right by walmart/strip mall so that was nice) and wiped down the remote and other surfaces, headboard, doors and door handles. Hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The elevator was broken, I was on main floor right next to the stairwell. Fun fact - did you know that the door to the stairwell slams every time it closes? It gets used a lot at all hours when the elevator doesn’t work. Went to the pool, it was fine, waterslide and hot tub as well. Hot tub jets weren’t working properly but staff got them working. Not many towels available and it didnt seem like anyone was taking care of the pool area testing water or gathering towels etc. Really unimpressed with the amount I paid and the crappy room and weekend I had.
