We had a great time at CityHub, the staff was really helping while planning adventures during our stay, little issues with the ventilation in the capsules, it got slightly stuffy and the apps had it’s moments. I wish there were more resources available, for breakfast and the machines being more functional. Overall, good experience.

Great location and price but very hot

Great location and price for a quirky hotel. It had every amenity I could ask for, but the temperature inside the capsule was very uncomfortable. The listing indicated air-conditioning and heating. After checking in we found out that we need to download an app to control the lights and ventilation. The problem was that I could only select ventilation boost on or off, but there was no change. I woke up multiple times dripping with sweat. I Raven took a cold shower at 2:00am but it didn’t help. This room is perfect if you enjoy sleeping in a hot room without air flow.

10/10 would come back and recommend to everyone, especially female solo travelers! Felt super safe the whole time here and the whole facility was very clean. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the property was in a prime location for tourists.

Great location, central to downtown for shopping and all the restaurants. Rooms are small but comfortable, has RBG lighting and Bluetooth speakers by the beds. Definitely differentiates Cityhub against and other hotel and I would recommend staying here as a solo traveler

Amazing value for money, fab stat

Amazing little rooms, well thought out and super comfy beds and duvets. Everything was spotless including the bathrooms and the main social area was great, with a well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect and the price was so good. Would definitely book again

Finding parking was the only hassle we had. Probably the cleanest hostel I’ve been in from bathrooms to rooms to shared spaces. Great location downtown. Hot tub was a plus. Had no problems with noise during the sleep either. Would stay here again! The front area employees are super nice and helpful.

For being new, it was very clean. I wanted to experience something different that wasn’t a hostel. However, I would never do it again. The acoustics are horrible. I barely slept due to the noise. Doors slamming at all hours of the night. The person above/next to me, jumping down and then banging the walls and doors. It is understood the room has to have air flowing at all times for circulation, but it was freezing. The blanket and pillow provided were not enough. For women, there are no blow dryers. And adapters if yours doesn’t work/forget one. It was ultimately a different and clean experience. However, if you would like to sleep for more than an hour or two, may not be the place for you.

Reykjavik downtown relocation

Relocated from CityHub as the renovations work was being completed. The receptionist was really good in explaining the relocation to a nearby hotel where they added a free breakfast as well. Thank you.

Reykjavik weekend stay

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and they moved me to a lovely hotel a few minutes walk away. The compenation was a free breakfast. They informed me through email of the situation. I am really happy with the situation and wish City Hub the full success once they are fully open and all the work has been completed

Il y a eu un problème d’électricité dans l’hotel. Ce qui nous a empecher de dormir (plus de ventilation = trop chaud dans le hub) Resultat nous avons du quitter hotel plus tôt que prévu.
