Overall a good experience! Hot tub is nice and the washrooms are good. Common kitchen is also good and if you are beginning your trip check out the free shelves in the fridge for supplies! Had a few hiccups figuring out the check-in but we eventually found the barcode we had to scan since the staff were unavailable when we arrived. Cozy room but enough space to open the suitcase! Beware that there is no onsite parking and you will need to walk from a free zone or research the parking zone system. It was a bit confusing for us as we couldn’t use the parking app.

It was an awesome experience staying there. I had one small concern — I wasn’t able to use Netflix on the TV through my phone due to region restrictions. It would be great if you could provide free Netflix access.

Overall stay was great for value! Fire alarm randomly went off one night while I was staying there at 4 am on accident. Other than that, facilities were nice and in a great walkable area. If you have a car, it is difficult to find free parking close by

This was my first experience with City Hub. Overall, a good value. Concierge was excellent. All the automation for everything mostly worked. Given the amount of summer daylight, the ability to be in a dark pod was helpful for sleeping. My only complaint--and not sure how they'd fix it--was the seemingly constant opening/closing pod doors--sometimes dozens of times in a matter of minutes and even late at night. All else was quiet, but even silicon ear plugs couldn't shield the percussion. Only ambien worked!

We didn’t really know what we were walking into, but we enjoyed the compact pod-style rooms in this hostel. The bathrooms, although shared on the floors, were the cleanest we’ve seen in any hostel. Shared kitchen was well-stocked and there’s even a bin for free food that other travellers have left behind. The luggage storage was a great feature after arriving early in the city off a red-eye flight. Would recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavik for a few nights!
