We arrived in Iceland on an all night flight from Denver, Co. We were able to take the bus into town and walk up the hill to Sunna. The receptionist was fabulous, lots of information and we were able to move right into our room on arrival at 8:00am. Lovely spot and lovely staff. No elevators may be a problem for some.

It was a very nice motel. Everything was laid out good. The only thing I didn’t like was I crawled into bed and I had dirty sheets. There was sand down in the end of the bed where your feet go I was not impressed with that. Other than that I thought it was a very nice motel. I talk to the lady behind the desk and she apologized and said she would mention it to her staff.

Great location, helpful staff, good breakfast, clean and well maintained property and all around good choice. All our family were pleased with our stay. The only minor negative is that the apartment we had was way too hot with no way to turn down the temperature. We also had to go outside to get back into the breakfast area. Minor points though.

Great night stay! Parking was easy. Check in was easy! Fantastic location- our room had a view of the Hallgrimskirkja. Walkable to anywhere in town. Bathroom, toilet and cooking facilities were sparkling. We shared an apartment with other people but never heard a sound from them from our room.

This is in a great location. Most of downtown Reykjavik is walkable, easy to get to everything. Staff is always friendly and the place is always clean.

It was very accessible to the old town and right by the church so was easy to navigate to. Very quiet and cozy. Enjoyed our stay. Didn't interact much with the hotel staff, but when we did they were helpful and nice.

Can’t beat the location. Right across the street from bus stop pickup for day tours, Flybus, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the view of the church from room window. Will definitely stay here again.

I initially considered Guesthouse Sunna due to it's location and finally chose Sunna due to it's competitive price. I had a nice sized clean room in a modern building located in a safe area (a 1 minute walk to Hallgrímskirkja church and bus stop #8) within walking distance to shopping and dining options. The staff was very helpful. They offer luggage hold and coin-op laundry.
