A beautiful classic hotel. The artwork is everywhere and fantastic. The breakfast was excellent. And very quiet, yet only less than 10 minutes to lots of restaurants and the sights.

We liked the art throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were all most helpful. Adam assisted in advance of our stay in arranging for a driver, Antonis, to meet us at KEF early in the morning then give us the “golden triangle” tour.

Great for the price but can be hot on warmer days

Everyone at the hotel front desk was so accommodating and lovely— we loved everyone we came into contact with. Our issue was with the heat of the room and the lack of airflow. We arrived at one of the hottest days of the year and were not expecting to have AC in the room, but there was very little airflow even with the patio doors open. It felt like the room was 27C/80F+ and we couldn’t sleep with the doors open since the patio space was shared amongst several rooms. The front desk kindly offered a fan which helped a little, but it would’ve been great if the windows could have opened / if the patio space was private so we could keep the doors open overnight. The hotel was in a very lovely area overall, but I suppose we were expecting just a bit more amenities / a level of comfort for the price of the junior balcony suite. Our room was also advertised as a king but it was definitely a double bed, so just keep that in mind when booking. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

I had a lovely stay here. I felt very welcomed. The staff were helpful and kind, willing to answer my questions. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to from my hotel. Quick access to the church, rainbow street, shopping and restaurants. My room was spacious and comfortable. This hotel was perfect. Still downtown within walking distance to Rainbow road, shops, dining, and a grocery store. Safely tucked away from the main strip where it can get noisy with after hour bars.

Very solid hotel, lots of decorations (in a good way, not messy nor daunting). Good quality towels, bed, bath, shower products…. Is much nicer on the inside (in the bedroom) than on the outside (looks old and not much design). Very quiet but still 5 min walk away from the Main Street. Would totally recommend.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The at work and beautiful interiors of the hotel are amazing. Rooms were comfortable and clean, perfect after a long day sightseeing. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the Main Street in the city. Staff were great and made the stay, thanks to Gabriella and Adonis on reception and Josephine at the bar. All were so welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Hotel Holt is a charming, cozy unique hotel in a great location. The art is spectacular. My room was small but clean and well appointed. Very comfortable bed and nice bedding. Breakfast buffet was great. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel charged us early check in fee without informing us that it would be an extra cost. Upon checking in, they simply asked us if we would like to wait for the room to be ready (one of our two rooms was available by 9am), and then we went there, when they informed us around noon that the second room was also ready for us. They charged our card an additional $180 after we had left without telling us anything or informing us that it would require an extra charge. I am very disappointed as this was our first day in Iceland, and we had no idea what was going on. It felt like they took advantage of us. Had we been told the early check in would be an additional $180 , we would not have done that, as we spent the day outside the hotel anyway once the rooms were ready.
