AMAZING place! 3 Things to know: 1. Park by the Whale Watch Parking, it's free and recommended. 2. The lobby faces the marina, not the street. 3. This is Iceland, so the room is going to be 80°F when you check in. Open the window and turn your radiator down to 0 or 1 out of 5. Room and balcony views are stellar. The marina is quieter than the rest of the capital at night. The restaurant on the first floor - Slippbarinn - has quickly prepared gourmet meals with excellent cocktails featuring local spirits. In the winter, the location is perfect for northern lights. Even in the late spring, I was able to see a weak lime green aurora over the hotel. I'll never forget this place.

Comfortable stay in lovely location

Perfect room with plenty of shelves and hooks to spread out. Beautiful location at the Marina and access to restaurants. Very comfortable!

Great hotel

The room was really lovely. Great view, great location. Lovely breakfast that is well worth paying for, you won't get better any cheaper in Reykjavik. Had one evening meal there which was fantastic. Service is great, location is good. Interesting harbour location away from the centre but in East walking distance of everything you want to see

Overall was a great value. Not right in the middle of things, but not a far walk either. Good for the price. Hotel itself was nice. The bar/restaurant area was cute and looked like it had potential. Would stay again.

Cozy, but could be noisy

The twin beds felt small, but the room felt cozy. Coffee machines were great, and good amount of closet space. They did not have A/C which we will look out for next time we book a place; because having the window open didn't allow us to sleep, noisy road next to us.

Loved this hotel! Many public sitting rooms. Spacious great junior suite room. Very clean. Helpful staff. Right in the heart of Reykjavík, walkable to so many things.
