The pros: very clean, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful & the hotel itself was in good condition, a very comfy bed ! The cons: we booked the ‘small double’ and it was tiny - more suited to just one person. The sink was in the bedroom and the tap was too big for the sink so water would go everywhere when we used it, less than ideal. Needed somewhere to hang coats, ended up having to just dump on the floor… it was also very noisy, mainly from room above, very thin ceiling Overall not a baddd stay but wouldn’t book again

The location is great and the downstairs bar is excellent. The breakfast is good but a bit hit and miss with some items. Coffee is excellent! The basic rooms are very small, so if with two suitcases gets cramped. Staff is lovely.

Local 101 was a great stay! The rooms were efficiently designed and very fresh and new. The breakfast was nice and had a good variety of food. And the staff was very nice and accommodating. There is not a single bad thing to note.

We stayed just one night at 101 Local since our tour started the next day. This is an excellent small hotel ideally situated for walking to downtown dining and harbor. The room we booked was very small but we did choose the cheapest option. Clean and functional with a popular dining and bar area. If staying for more nights, ensure your room size meets your needs.

Very helpful staff. Stayed in one of the 2 rooms across the outdoor hall from the front desk. Quite small room, but for 2 nights it was fine. Wifi kicked out, especially the further from the door of the room. They could use a wifi extender in that part of the hotel, really good signal in the lounge/restauant. Happy hour drink specials, didn’t eat here. Lots of walkable restaurants and about 10 minutes to the rainbow street and lots of shops and cafes. Could use a fan in the bathroom as there was no ventilation after a shower.

Small but comfortable!

The room is small and there is limited storage space but the bed was more comfortable than some 5 star hotels. The room was cleaned well and breakfast was good… it would be nice if they had changed the menu a little each day and if they had skyr. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great stay and the location was convenient. I would definitely return.

Excellent service. Excellent location. We had a very small room, although I knew that at booking. Nice updates. Shower was not usable. We were able to store our luggage ( not really secured but we don’t travel with valuables) and they provided an area to rearrange things and freshen up. Coffee was available in the room. While there was an electric kettle there were no supplies for it. Nice downtown area within walking distance yet in quiet neighborhood. We used link on hotel website for transportation
