Check-in was busy, parking garage is great no scraping windscreen, bed and pillows comfortable, although overall room size was a bit small, struggled with room size and suitcases etc, bathroom toilet roll not in best place kept knocking it off, no controllable heat, only a fan available no heat, breakfast was fantastic lots choice fruit, waffles, skyr, chia pudding toast etc. good location for closeness to many attractions

This was our first stay of our trip. Our room was ready early, which was very much appreciated. A big bonus for this hotel is the parking. We were able to easily park our rental and then walk around the area. The staff was great and the breakfast was much better than expected.

I loved this hotel! Everything that you needed and more when you’re in Iceland! Location was perfect, close enough to downtown to walk a couple blocks and be right in the center of the city but just far enough out to be not in a crazy part too. Also very close to bus pick up locations for all excursions! The parking lot being attached and breakfast included was perfect for long days touring around. Staff was extremely helpful and nice whenever anything was needed from questions about Iceland to talking at the bar. Only downside of the hotel was the walls seemed very small - for example you could hear the noise from doors closing in the hallways from other people as well as cars/busses in the street if you have a street room, besides that I would 100% stay here again when I come back!

The stay here was perfect. The hotel is close to the main shopping street (if that rocks your boat) as well as within walking distance of the harbour, concert hall, the Hallgrimskirkja and the darker bay area for watching the Northern Lights. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with an excellent shower. One of the real highlights is the breakfast. Superb variety: muesli, granola, crèpes you can make yourself, lovely breads and pastries, porridge, coffee, fruit juices etc. The garage for car parking is free and under the hotel so when it's minus 5 outside your car is protected from the frost. Wouldn't hesitste to recommend.

Loved the location of the property. It was right around the corner for tour pickups which was great for long tour days. It was also close to shopping and food. The staff was very helpful when needed. The free breakfast was one of the best I've had when offered.

Hotel is located right at the start of the Main Street with restaurants. Good location. Room is cold. I didnt feel the heater on. I think the hotel is a bit old already. Breakfast selection not as great as Storm hotel. Excellent location to bus stop 9 and eateries though. Overall hotel has a dark and dim concept.
