This was a nice hotel, but the are stairs to negotiate and on our stay the lift was out of order. Reception did offer to take our bags up, but the out of order lift was not mentioned. The food was well presented and tasty.

Good but not perfect.

Overall a decent hotel and restaurant. Reasonable prices and great staff. The room was clean and tidy and daily housekeeping was very good. The issue was the bathroom in room 106. The bath tapers to a very narrow bath base making it dangerous to shower. Also the extractor fan was not working although the maintenance guy said it's on the work list to be done. We were there for 3 nights and was offered a room swap on the 3rd night which we declined as it was too late to bother. The bathroom is tired and needs replacing or taking out and a shower installed then the room would be perfect. Overall a good experience and we would use the hotel again.

the staff were great changing our room from the 3rd floor to 1st floor due to a broken down lift. This was repaired the following day. The restaurant was excellent with adapting the menu to gluten free. No electric vehicle chargers but 2 convenient chargers a short walk away by the rugby club.

Ok for a night

The Lady on reception didn’t look happy to see us as we were very early (11.45am) but explained we were on a road trip and been travelling for two weeks and only wanted to leave the camper on the car park and walk to town for the day until book in. The room was clean but dark as a back room with just bushes/tree blocking the light and very warm and had no air conditioning or fan. The outside needs a little love and car park too but inside reception, bar and restaurant areas are lovely. We had a walk to the town which is 20 minutes walk and then to the sea front where we found a lovely bar/ restaurant called St Elli’s Bay which was lovely.
