Mildew smell

As soon as we opened the door to the room, there was a powerful musty/mildew smell and the bedding was damp. I was told it was the only room available. It was a last minute booking and we were too tired after a 6 hour drive to move to another hotel, so we stayed and blasted the air the whole time. The kitchenette wasn't stocked with much, but it served its purpose. The bathroom was fine.

Looks nice from the outside. Coming inside there was a distinct smell in the lobby of smoke. I observed a few people who were right outside the front entrance smoking. When I got off the elevator on my floor, the smell of food was a bit overwhelming, as someone was clearly cooking in their room and had their door ajar. It was not a pleasant smell, and I don't have an aversion to smell, but this was a bit overwhelming. The room itself was okay, the bed was comfortable. The room was clean but needs to be updated. The room was nice enough to where I would stay again, but the smell of smoke in the lobby coupled with the overwhelming smell of food on the floor of my room was enough for me to rate the hotel as a 2, and not worth staying again.

Could’ve been better

First off, our tv was broken. The sink’s water pressure was very low and our AC unit was motion-censored and kept cutting off during our sleep. Concierge was nice enough to find us another room but we still had to deal with AC cutting off in the middle of the night due to us sleeping without moving. Overall, not the most comforting stay but I do appreciate front desk for doing what they could to make up for the rooms’ mishaps

Poorly ran property

Front desk with friendly the problem was there was a motion detector on the air conditioning we go to sleep the air conditioning multiple calls downstairs and trying to fix the motion detector … no luck.. try talking to the manager several times was never in would’ve been a decent experience with absolutely horrible because of the air conditioning situation. Nothing like being drenched in sweat instead of sleeping

Missing customer service/care.

The check-in went well. Front desk staff was friendly, explained towel service would be at the front desk and there would be no daily services. What they did not explain nor did we expect would be if things ran out over the weekend it would not be replaced. Examples - coffee creamer and hair conditioner both fairly important in a morning routine! Key cards needed to be replaced multiple times which was common within our group of multiple room. Would not return.
