The room was large, quiet, nicely decorated. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The complex is quite amazing. A very good find!! We arrived at night so the check-in was a little confusing because we needed to go to a separate building which was not noted in the reservation. And the hotel does not have Hilton or Tapestry signage. And the entrance is also not well marked and located at the back of the building. I'm sure it would have been easier in daylight!!

The hotel is okay, it's a bit dated. The tub had definitely some black yuck around the caulking. The staff doors were propped open that didn't really make me feel safe.

My fiancé and I booked this trip months ago and drove over an hour to celebrate our anniversary and we booked specifically to recreate our first time staying at the hotel and the Tavern was closed which was the main reason we booked and it was closed!! No credit, no apology, no offer of free breakfast, nothing! We spent over $200 for this experience. Then we discovered blood on our sheets and when we tried to call down to the front desk there was no answer. We paid too much money for this experience and will be asking for our money back!!

The conference facility, restaurants and staff warrant a 5 Star review, but my room at the Monroe Guest deserves only 3 Stars. The room was clean and comfortable, but many of the electrical outlets did not work. The sink in the bathroom backed up and would not drain. The iron was broken and I had to request a new one. The carpets in the hallways were worn and stained. It wasn’t what I’ve come to expect from the Hilton Brand.
