Anglers have plenty to choose from, from the center of Sjusjøenvannet to countless mountain lakes and the trout-rich Åstaelven. Sjusjøen is Norway's cross-country skiing paradise, here you will find miles of groomed trails. Take a trip on the legendary Birkebeinerløypa, which passes Sjusjøen on its journey across the mountains from Lillehammer to Rena. Sjusjøen also offers dog sledding, sleigh rides and snow rafting. Natrud-style ski center Sjusjøen attracts with beautiful alpine experiences for the whole family.... Sledge boards and small shovels can be found in the shed. Charming Lillehammer with attractions such as Maihaugen and the family park Hunderfossen is also worth a visit.
