Wonderful hotel, clean quiet and modern. Very helpful staff and bilingual. 15 min from the conference center which is why I stayed here. 60 min from copacabana / Ipanema. Not much next the hotel. Shopping, beach and national park are nearby.

The bathroom had mold growing around the base of the shower and the shower doors. The floor in the room were never mopped and poorly sweep. I was constantly having to request washcloths and towels. At the swimming pool there were tiles missing and mold going around the top edges of the pool.

This place is excellent!!! The service was second to none in Brazil. Carlos, Andres, Louis a young man was a great host, especially for Americans traveling to Brazil. The only negative but it's actually a plus is the placement of the hotel which is far from the action but it is a good thing because its safe from the chaos. Security in the lobby around the clock which is essential in Brazil. The elevator also has a card security to which you can only go to your floor so it provides security and takes away any stress of anyone randomly popping up and attempting any mischief. Brazil is beautiful and excellent place to visit. The Marriott is the best hotel to stay and this is not a bot writing this. Iam a new Yorker on vacation in Brazil for the first time and I loved it, the BEST SERVICE ALLOWED ME TO HAVE THE BEST VACATION

I booked a king size bed for a week; decided to get earlier check in and longer stay. They put me in a room with two twin beds and charged me the same daily amount of the king bed. I asked the front desk to change it and they didn’t.
