FOR RENT Rio Marina lovely location with a maritime flavor in the middle of the east coast of the island of Elba
The LOFT FRANCESCA in fact encloses within it, completely new furniture and finishes with reclaimed materials concerning the sea, which create a beach bungalow atmosphere without sacrificing comfort.
The apartment is located in the historic center, inside a typical alley (Via Garbibaldi) that can be reached directly from the town square or from a staircase that passes in front of the Monerario Museum and arrives directly to the seafront of Rio Marina.
On the ground floor with its own entrance inside it has undergone a conservative restoration that has enhanced its atmosphere. It consists of a single room equipped with kitchenette (small fridge without frezzer, microwave oven, electric stove with two burners, sink and washing machine); a sofa bed (130x190) a fixed bed (130x190), bathroom with shower stall, toilet, sink. The LOFT is air-conditioned for hot and cold and is equipped with TV.
Rio Marina is a pretty town with a history linked to mineral extraction and fishing and tourism activities, where you can still breathe the typical atmosphere of the villages inhabited by the "people of the sea," with the small stores, sweets and typical dishes, restaurants where you can taste the catch of the day cooked with extreme care and with recipes sometimes very old. Possibility of water activities such as boat rental, diving center with PADI patent issue and sailing school.
The small beach of La Torre is gravel and is located in the center of town, while nearby there is the beautiful bay of Ortano, the beach of Le Fornacelle, i Topinetti, Cala Seregola, the Coves of il Portocciolo, Gennaro, Luisi d'Angelo to finish with Cavo until you reach Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri.
The town is also home to numerous cultural and sporting events throughout the year, including festivals and fairs. Typical local dishes include baccala cooked with the recipe for the typical "Stoccafisso" as well as "Sbrurrita," "Schiaccia Briaca," and the traditional "Sportella di Pasqua."
Rio Marina is also an ideal base for exploring the island of Elba, as it offers a strategic location almost in the center of the island as well as convenience.
