The Space:
River Birch Cabin is a newly-renovated cabin that tastefully blends country living with modern touches. We’re perfect for couples, families, or small groups of friends! Beyond the cabin itself, the Lost River area is great for so many reasons -- and the cabin is just a short drive to everything. Downtown Lost River has several cute, artisanal shops -- while the greater area has fantastic hiking trails!

The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- 2 bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and the other with a twin bunk – plus a pull-out couch in the living room (don’t worry, it’s comfortable!)
- Fully-stocked kitchen with dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable
- Wood-burning stove to keep you cozy in the winter
- A spacious covered front porch, perfect for relaxing on a warm day
- Fast, reliable fiber Internet/WiFi – easily fast enough to stream movies, hold video calls, and WFH
- Washer and dryer
- Outdoor fire pit right along the stream, with a picnic table and seating for the whole gang
- An outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: corn hole, volleyball, soccer and kick balls, horseshoes, and many more!

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. The bathroom has a bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as a hot tub or take in the view from a garden.

Great cabin in a lovely neighborhood!

We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and cozy and looked just like the photos. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. We didn’t hear back from the owner for about a week when we initially reached out (before the trip) but communication was quick and thorough every time after that. Highly recommend.

Quiet solitude

We stayed at the River access cabin for 5 nights with our 2 doggies and had such a nice time. The absence of traffic noise at night time while listening to whippoor wills was glorious. We enjoyed Bob fires, hot tubbing, lazy days at the lake in the trout pond recreational area and a hike to Cranny Crow overlook in Lost River State Park. We took some adorable #almostheaven photos on the swing at the top. The cabin is well appointed with various cookware, WiFi and a smart tv which we never used. The air conditioner works well and was a blessing as we arrived for a week of over 90* days. I had hoped to get some stellar stargazing in with my new telescope but the nights were not cooperative. We couldn’t bring our suv due to car trouble but we were able to access the property with my little Nissan Sentra. That said, something with more ground clearance and more horsepower would have been ideal for the steep gravel roads.

Had a nice stay at Tony's cabin. kids ran around the yard and visited the creek. We took advantage of the games and fire pit. the cabin is a bit remote, but enjoyed every minute. good communication and high value.

quick romantic getaway

a relaxing weekend getaway for my spouse and I, we really enjoyed the grill and hot tub, the Adirondack chairs by the fire were really great. The cabin itself is updated and super clean. The cabin is a bit remote, but that was the allure!

Rustic chic cabin/cottage in the woods with hot tub and fire pit

We had a great time at this cabin with our teen kids. we bbq'd, watched movies, and used the hot tub. Tony was a gracious host and communication was great. We had lots of questions and they answered all of them.
