The staff was lovely across the board. The breakfast was far better than I expected for such an inexpensive hotel. I would have liked a kettle in the room. Aside from that, the bed was very comfortable, but the room was a bit old. The carpet smelled a bit musty. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking for a good value.

It was quiet, claiming place by the river. Easy walk to shops and hike up the mountain.Food was fresh and plenty of choice. Interesting books in the rooms. Would come again. Free tea during day at reception which I discovered and check out late on Sunday. Thank you

Modern, central, great breakfast

Located on the Drammen River in a modern area. Approximately 10 minute walk to train station. The Ypsilon Bridge takes to to the Bragenes area within 8 minutes. The Drammen Bath (swimming pool, aquatic park) is also nearby. The breakfast at Comfort Hotel was wonderful. We loved Zemi, an Asian Restaurant.

Nice and easy hotel to stay in if you travel by foot, bike or public transport. Not so much if you travel by car as no parking in hotel and nearby areas have extortionate parking rates. Hotel staff were not very knowledgeable about parking when we arrived. In addition they had trouble in locating our booking even though we had called ahead about our late arrival. Not what you want to contend with at 6 in the morning after more than 30 hours on the road. The hotel itself was fine and basic. Breakfast a bit lacking in taste. The room itself was adequate, with the exception of the leaking shower head.

Convenient location

Very convenient location walking distance to town centre - we didn't like the fact that rooms are not serviced daily (they do it once a week!). This is apparently due to Covid but seems unnecessary since Norway now has no Covid restrictions.
