The apartment is located in the Flaminio neighbourhood, a neighbourhood wedged between the Via Flaminia and the left bank of the Tiber , with its museums and elegant facades of it's buildings and villas . Historically Flaminio was the first neighbourhood of the Capital.Rich of places to visit, Villa Borghese with its many attractions the Tempietto di Esculapio, the Casina delle Rose, the Casa del Cinema, the Bioparco or the Globe Theater. Villa Borghese has nine entrances thus allowing access to the neighbouring and central neighborhoods of the city, Pinciano, Salario and of course Flaminio as well.
The end of the Second World War and with the assignment to Rome of the 1960 Olympic Games a phase of profound urban transformation of this area began with the construction of the Olympic village. In later years the Auditorium (designed by Renzo Piano) and the MAXXI (designed by Zaha Hadid) enriched this area, thanks to the remarkable cultural initiatives that have taken place since then.
Staying in this area you can admire impressive buildings (eg Ministry of the Navy) and squares (Piazza Mancini) but also Porta del Popolo, the Teatro Olimpico, the Scalo de Pinedo, the Flaminio Stadium, Rowing clubs on the Tiber, the Ponte Duca d'Aosta, the churches of Santa Croce and Sant'Andrea.
Ponte Milvio has become popular also thanks to the novels of Federico Moccia .
In 2010 the last masterpiece of urban architecture was inaugurated, the Ponte della Musica, which connects the Flaminio to the Foro Italico.
Its proximity to Piazza del Popolo, one of the largest square in Rome and the historic centre of Rome makes it a very interesting and pleasant neighbourhood for those who want to visit Rome for study, work or pleasure.
The area is full of bars, restaurants and clubs.
Metro A, station Flaminio just a two minute walk away.
The building is located outside the ZTL, the Limited Traffic Area of Rome’s city center.
Atac´s Park & Ride areas allow long-term parking at a discounted rate, to reach the City Centre using urban public transport. Every Park & Ride area (both automated or not) is close to a Metro station or to the urban and suburban bus terminus.
