Those high-coffered ceilings. All that hardwood parquetry. The splash of Carrara marble in the bath suite. Casa Madama has all the attributes that charm for a spectacular stay in Rome. It almost feels like being on a Federico Fellini film set.
There’s also an incredible amount of space for an apartment so close to Piazza Navona. And we love what the property owners have done with the furniture: plush velvet soft seating contrasts with the clean mid-century modern vibe of the dining area.
Five bedrooms with five bathrooms make it a fantastic spot for five couples or a large family. It’s perhaps the bathrooms that stand out the most: super-sharp geometric tiling, tasteful splashes of colour – and what about that chrome-finish bath?
