Room much smaller than expected, photos and description deceptive - no double sink or nice view despite paying more for a premium room on high floor. Most inconvenient lack of plug sockets - the couple available after unplugging phone and tv were ancient looking with three small pins in a row - NOT standard 2-pin Italy/Europe sockets. Roof bar a complete rip off - €25 for cocktails and €10 for coke or water. Breakfast was nice. Location okay - Maria maggiore just over the road and colosseum 20 mins walk - but everything else was quite far to walk.

The roof top restaurant, the friendly staff. Good food. The interior design of the hotel rooms and the use of marble decoration throughout the Hotel was delightful. I had a problem with a leaking shower, and the plug in the wash basin needed replacing.

I messaged property weeks before my stay for a reservation and they confirmed. I get there for my trip and I wanted to verify and the man said he doesn't know anything about it even thought I showed him the messages. He said the messages were not with the hotel but with Expedia which makes no sense as it clearly stated it was them who messaged. The breakfast staff was amazing!

The location is a short walk from Tremini Station & Metro. The view from the breakfast room is amazing. Staff very helpful & friendly. Only problem was no A/C - we were here very end of April & the room at night was sweltering - I asked about it & due to cool weather earlier in the month it wasn’t turned on yet.

The property was within walking distance to the Coliseum and the Trevi Fountain. The staff was friendly and helpful; they called for a taxi for us to go to the Vatican. The breakfast was absolutely delicicous!! Great room, location, and staff!!

My wife and i stayed at the Mecenate Palace Hotel for 4 days. It was everything we wanted. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, as was the service and the location. We were able to easily walk to transportation, and major tourist attractions. We would definitely stay there again!

I was worried about the location because it is close to Termini train station and I've seen influencers say it's not a safe area at night, however there were absolutely no issues regarding the area. Just be aware of your surrounding. Firstly, it was by Termini so about a 6 minute walk you arrive at this hotel. It costs E17 on the Leonardo Express to Termini. 2nd, the hotel is 6 floors and the 7th is the rooftop bar and restaurant. Breakfast is included. The breakfast is a feast! Incredible fresh items both hot and cold. Eggs, sautéed vegetables, bacon, quiches, fresh fruits, juices, cereals pastries and cookies, cold cuts , toast, potatoes, salads etc. As i am not a breakfast eater, I ate their breakfast! 3rd, the staff were wonderful absolutely fantastic as they helped with all our questions especially since it was the first time in Rome, we had questions about transportation. Remember I mentioned Termini station? The staff told us how to get there to catch a bus to St. Peter's Basilica #64 drops you at the Vatican. Catch 64 back to the hotel too. 4th, our room faced the courtyard so very little street noise, however if you face the street. I would think it would be noisy as it is in a busy intersection. Around the corner is the Santa Maria di Maggiore, one of the holy doors for the Jubilee. So close and an absolutely because church. We had a triple room and there were 3 twin beds 2 of which were together, which wasn't a problem. The beds could be bette
