This was a great apartment for two couples. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen was well-appointed. The space was charming and the large patio a huge plus. The lift to the unit is small and typically European, but was essential for getting heavy luggage up to the apartment. Once you reach the front door, there is a flight of stairs to the living space. The only complaint I would have is that the hot water was not consistent...and seemed to cut out whenever I had shampoo in my hair. It was mildly inconvenient but we all got used to it and it would not affect my decision to stay here again.The location is great! A 10 minute walk to Piazza Navonna and the Pantheon, 15 minutes to the Corso for shopping, about 20 minutes to the Spanish Steps, and about 35 minutes to the Vatican. This building is located a little off the main streets so was very quiet.

The property was clean, had plenty of room, was quiet, and had a great deck. There was a small maintenance issue (door lock to the deck), and they fixed it quickly. We were really pleased with this property and the communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome.

Great location and terrific outside patio, which we enjoyed in AM and PM. The pictures are accurate. Once you enter the property, there are 17 steps to get your luggage up to the living area. I was unaware of this when I booked. The property was worth the walk up each day.

Fantastic location

The apartment was a good size for our family of four. The location was fantastic since it is basically in the middle of most of the major tourist attractions. Several nice piazzas are within a ten minute walk. The outdoor area is a nice spot for coffee or afternoon aperitivo. A book of information about the unit would be a nice addition explaining the various features of the apartment.

First Roman Adventure

First stay in Rome and first European travelIn many years. I had booked the Palazzo Lovatelli months earlier looking for something in old city and centrally located with character. Boy did this deliver. The place was magical! The view from the terrace transported to a different time The many bird calls of gulls, swifts and other birds just added to the ambience. Host were responsive to communication and check-in was efficient. The accommodations were well thought out with 2 king bedrooms with bathroom en-suite and another smaller bedroom with a twin and full bathroom adjacent. To know for fellow travelers - there is a small lift to get to the second floor , but there are still stairs. A short flight up to the door and once inside approx 12 stairs up to the main part of the house. We would stay again and would definitely recommend.

Family Vacation in Rome

The apartment was fantastic! The terrace was a great place to sit. We used it for most of our meals and afternoon cocktails. The location is quiet and centrally located to a grocery store (a one-minute walk), restaurants, the Jewish quarter is two blocks away with great bakeries and restaurants. We had our 86-year-old mother with us and were close enough to walk to the Coliseum, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Vatican City, etc. The elevator worked well, but as most places in Europe that have an elevator, there are still stairs to climb to the elevator and in the apartment. Communication with the host was great, we would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Spot in the Heart of Rome

The property was amazing, with three bedrooms (one is a split off the dining room), but each with its own bathroom and shower. The layout is spacious and well-appointed, with a functional kitchen and elevator access. Location is very central to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and a wide array of shops/restaurants. A high point of the apartment is the rooftop patio that has an incredible view of the skyline.Note that the unit is advertised as having two twin beds, but only one of which was installed (in the split bedroom). The management company was great and quickly brought in a second to accommodate our party without issue. Everyone slept great at night and was very comfortable.We would definitely book Palazzo Lovatelli again!

Lovely apartment in need of small repairs & fixes

All in all, this was a lovely apartment, well located and with a fantastic terrace that we used every day. Despite the welcoming atmosphere and nice furnishings & artworks, for the price, the amenities felt a bit lacking. Adding one extra towel per person, a mere bottle of water or coffee capsules in the kitchen, and a knowledgeable friendly person to greet you would completely change the quality of the stay. The person giving us the keys was clueless and in an obvious rush. She was not particularly knowledgeable or welcoming, just very transactional. Note there is a gardener who has the keys and comes 3 x a week. When we asked at what time, we were just given a vague “in the afternoon”. The gardener needs to go through the apartment, so we didn’t feel super comfortable being in our undies or leaving valuables around, knowing he could walk in at any time. For almost $900 a night when you add taxes & fees, we expected a bit more luxury. The showers were a bare trickle in most of the bathrooms. However, these are simple fixes and we recommend the owner make some small efforts to render this property worth the price.

Rome Penthouse

Beautiful apartment - contains everything you could need. Communications with manager was impeccable - organised the airport transfers too. What a location - within two minutes of walking out the front door, you're in the middle of the Jewish quarter with its huge array of restaurants. Another few minutes walk and you're in Trastevere.

This property met all of our needs regarding location. The beds were comfortable and everything was furnished. The balcony views were amazing There were a few items we were not pleased with. The temperatures were really cool in the evenings and mornings and sadly there was not any heat elements for any bathroom, although the photos showed radiators and towel warmers. We alerted the host who explained those were turned off during the latest renovations. So taking a shower and getting ready wasn't comfortable especially at the luxury price paid. The only other negative was there was only 1 towel and 1 hand towel per guest, when I asked for additional ones was told that those come at an additional fee. This would have been fine had we known in advance but we were not told of this. Our trip was amazing still and this place was very nice as was the host. I only mention these so others know these things.

A lovely apartment

This is a great place to stay in Rome. The apartment is extremely comfortable, clean, well equipped and attractive. It is within reasonable walking distance of my favourite Rome spots and the terrace is beautiful. If I really, really search for something at all negative, the only "issue" we had were some extra stairs. While there is an elevator for most of it, there is one final flight you have to take on foot. Fortunately, I had a young person to help me with my luggage on that last "leg". Nonetheless, I highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again soon!

Roman Garden Terrace Holiday

The garden terrace was stunning and we used it morning and night! The view was spectacular. The location was within walking distance to the hop on, hop off buses and taxis. It was close to good local restaurants. Elevator access was key. A couple minor issues should be addressed (light bulbs out, glass partition on bathtub needs repair, master bath sink drained very slowly, basic condiments should be available, need new ice cube trays). Overall, great experience and we would recommend it and stay there again!

We loved the location and the fact that the terrace was located just off the kitchen. BTW, this kitchen is most generously stocked with tools and implements. Was real fun cooking there. We spent unforgettable moments reveling in the sunset views!

Fantastische Wohnung

Wir waren zu fünft in der Wohnung und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Die Wohnung war noch schöner als auf den Fotos mit wunderbaren Ausblicken aus jedem Fenster und von der Terrasse. Lage ist absolut top, nettes Viertel und alles zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Wohnung war alles sehr gut und hochwertig eingerichtet und jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad, was wirklich sehr komfortabel war. Wir haben es sehr genossen, Abends auf der herrlichen, mit vielen Pflanzen bewachsenen Terrasse zu sitzen und Wein zu trinken und dazu Pizza von Florida Pizza zu essen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder die Wohnung buchen.

L'appartement est vraiment spacieux, confortable et fonctionnel, la vue sur les toits est magnifique et il est super bien placé, après les grosses journées, on pouvait ressortir et aller voir le foro romano illuminé la nuit, c'était splendide. prévoir boules quies si vous êtes sensibles (beaucoup de mouettes matinales sur les toits) + une des 2 chambres n'a qu'un petit rideau donc laisse passer pas mal de lumière. prévoir aussi de sortir les poubelles au fur et à mesure, le concierge n'est pas commode. Mais à part ces mini désagréments, vraiment rien à redire, grands lits confortables, serviettes et linge de maison nickel, grande cuisine avec tout le nécessaire, canapés confortables, 3 SdB toutes refaites, et la terrasse de folie, le tout dans un bel immeuble et avec ascensceur.
