Very friendly staff. The room was big enough and very clean. It's in a lovely neighborhood with lots to do close to the colosseum but it's quiet inside. The hotel is houses on the third floor of a lovely old building and you take an old wooden elevator which is one of the oldest in Rome. Thhotel

Perfect Location!

Perfect place to stay! Great hosts and super clean room. Super big people beware of the 3' x 3' plastic corner shower. I'm not super big, but still felt like a bull in a china shop. Loved the antique lift! The A/C was great and most attractions are within a 15 minute walk. Taxis and Ubers in Rome are $$$!

While I loved the wonderful service of the staff and their welcoming nature - unfortunately the room we had was not up to standards. The ceiling was cracking and peeling off and fell onto some of our items, the shower had poor pressure and also leaked into the room area through the wall. The shower itself as well seems to have some mold growth in the crevices. The things we did like are the location (very close to main sights) and the kind staff. We also felt safe where the hotel was located and felt secure. My hope is the hotel can make the necessary upgrades to their rooms for future guests as otherwise it’s a great location and could be a fantastic place to stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was in need of some repairs. The ceiling plaster had fallen on our luggage. We informed the staff and they scraped and cleaned immediately. The shower had mold on the outside of the door. The toilet had a small leak. Otherwise, room was fine. Lobby and stairs were clean and nice.

Positives: Functioning air conditioner. Soundproof window over a busy street. Interesting heritage elevator. Great location near the Colliseum. Negatives: Dated curtains and bedspreads. There was a tiny (2' square) shower with black mold at all the seams. We had twin beds which were very narrow and hard. There was no breakfast available. One night we had an awful smell of garbage in our room so we were sure that our room was near the garbage room the day before pickup. Overall: I do not recommend this property.

Hotel is charming and location is great cause you can walk everywhere. Room was big and comfortable. It is a bit outdated but for the price and location it’s worth it. Staff was very nice and helpful. *note they will charge you more for late check ins

The property was clean, and charming. The bed was not comfortable, it was hard. The room was decent size and the AC worked well. The shower was very small and the water temperature fluctuated while using it.

Location was superperb really close to the coliseum and not a far walk from the trevi fountain. The gelato around the corner is delicious and so is the restaurant next to it. The hotel itself was really nice with tall ceilings and a old functional elevator. They also offered luggage storage for when we have to check out.

Decent stay

Location is great and walkable to all the major attractions in Rome. However, the room was not very clean - the walls had stains and there were bed bugs. We also had issues with the toilet flush that they fixed the following day.
