The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are small, but that may be typical for Rome. The rooftop restaurant has a stunning view of Trastevere, made excellent cocktails, and had one of the best meals we had when staying in Rome. As Rome is famous for the many sites and walking, its nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel. Trastevere also has many good places to get food or a drink.

Staff was consistently very courteous. However, I brought my own personal washcloth with a blue school emblem, (clearly not part of the hotel's especially because the hotel does not provide washcloths), and the housekeeper took it and it was never found. Yhe sink did ot drain properly. The breakfast was wonderful and healthy

I thought the location was good: steps from great restaurants and Gelateria in Trastevere! Loved the blackout curtains & windows, which were pretty sound-proof, allowing for quiet rest. Some of the staff were courteous; some were not very friendly. When I arrived, I was assigned the room next to the (very loud) elevator and asked to be moved. I am very sound sensitive and had been traveling (and not sleeping) for the prior 48 hours and really needed sound sleep. It would not have been drowned out with earplugs and a white noise machine. This turned out to be a very big hassle and inconvenience. It took over an hour to resolve, during which time I could not walk around, shower or lay down…just had to sit and wait. During this process, it seemed the staff was angry at my request and didn’t want to accommodate me. Finally had to stand at the desk to get this resolved, as it had already taken forever - there were no guests waiting to check in, so I have no idea what the hold up was. Finally a lovely staff member who seemed like a manager perhaps, stepped in to get this handled. I am grateful to her, otherwise would have had a bad experience here. Aside from her, did not feel the staff to be a very courteous bunch. It is also about 30-40 minute walk or a taxi ride to attractions, such as the Colosseum or Vatican. If you’re planning these adventures, it might be better to stay in city center. One recommendation: it would be nice to have ceramic coffee cups instead of paper!

Stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and this was our favorite of all the hotels we booked! Our room was clean, beautifully decorated and the bed was so plush and comfortable. The rainfall shower was amazing. The hotel is in the middle of Trastevere which is such a cool neighborhood and the best spot for dining in Rome. Lots of great restaurants and cute shops within steps from the hotel and we felt safe walking around even late at night. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Rome!
