The apartment, of ca. 40 square meters, completely renovated, on the first floor, in a 17th century building, it is truly in the center of Rome (as you can read from the testimonies), in Piazza Costaguti 29.
Between Largo Argentina (with the remains of ancient Roman temples) and Tiber Island, it is a few hundred meters from Piazza Venezia, Pantheon, S. Luigi dei Francesi (with the famous paintings by Caravaggio), Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Farnese, via Giulia and Teatro di Marcello, Imperial Forums and Colosseum.

The host was extremely welcoming,gave us lots of information about what to see and do. She provided us with a welcome feast of charcuterie and home made crostata enough for four(we are only two. The location is excellent, close to many major attractions. The apartment is spacious but the fittings snd furniture are somewhat aged. We had a fabulous three days here.Thanks Manuela

This was a very enjoyable stay in Rome. Emanuella was so very nice and welcoming. She had a selection of Roman pizza, meats and olives on the table for us on arrival. She had even baked a beautiful and delicious tart for us! There was water, Coke and even a bottle of wine in the refrigerator! Completely unexpected, but very much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. There is a certain rustic feeling, so it just feels like it belongs there. The location in the historic Jewish Ghetto is a car free piazza with bakeries and wonderful restaurants nearby. Ancient ruins in sight from the window. Amazing!!If we return to Roma, we would gladly stay here again. Grazie mille, Manu!!

We enjoyed our stay in Rome, Emanuela was terrific host, kind , helpful,excellent communicator, she even made snacks and a croststa as welcome gift. Cannot say enough good things about the host. The only negative regarding this property are the narrow stairs leading to the first floor.

We had a wonderful stay in this superbly located, well-supplied, charming and compact apartment. Emanuela was the most welcoming host and kept in touch with us from booking through arrival--even offering suggestions of activities during our stay. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, good wifi, lots of places nearby for meals and coffee. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and very much enjoyed our stay!

Best experience ever!!!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience, from accuracy on the website describing this apartment to working with our host. Registration was a very smooth process, Manuela was very communicative, addressing our specific needs, and wanted to make sure we were able to get the most out of our vacation in Rome. When we arrived Manuela was waiting for us with a warm smile, and her beautiful Italian accent. The apartment is furnished with flatware, dishes, pots, clean towels, coffee and tea. It has a quaint vibe as you look at the beautiful furnishings, linens, and lighting. (her mother crocheted the lace window coverings.) and to look up at a ceiling and be told it is over 300 years old. The air conditioner was definitely helpful on the warmer nights. The bed was very comfortable, firm, crisp clean bed linens, and large antique armoire to hang clothing. The bathroom is clean, and has a selection of shampoos, conditioners, even razors in case you forgot. We absolutely loved the location. At approximately 2 AM if you open the dining area window you can get the most amazing smell of fresh baked breads from the bakery below and next door. There are two other bakeries with fresh baked items directly opposite the exit from the apt. What we absolutely loved about this apt was the proximity to the most delicious restaurants, delicious gelato ( we had some almost every day of our stay.) We also felt very safe in this location!

It was our honor to stay in such an incredibly well-appointed and historic apartment. Upon arrival, we were graciously greeted by Emmanuella, who had a variety of Italian delicacies ready, and a warm heart to greet us. She was incredibly accommodating and extremely thorough in her communication and instructions. Additionally, she patiently provided us with a general layout of the area, and provided some “must do” attractions and eateries on the map. The WiFi worked well all week, the bed was extremely comfortable and lots of sunlight. If you are seeking a true, authentic Roman experience - in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto, look no further.

Beautiful Apartment

Beautiful little apartment right above a fantastic Italian café, and bakery in the Jewish ghetto section. Great location to walk the entire city.The host was absolutely amazing, she met us at the property with a gorgeous breakfast and was so kind to walk us through the entire apartment. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.

It couldn't be better located. You can walk to all main attraction, and some are right outside your front door! The 17 stairs are no big deal. The light and charm make up for it!

Amazing Rome!

Manuela is an amazing host and my daughter and I loved her. She had food on the table for us when we first got to the apartment and is so sweet. The apartment is in an amazing location with a bakery just below the apartment and coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It is in a wonderful location, within walking distance of everything you’ll want to see. I stayed here last year and came back for a second stay this September. We loved it!

This was our very first trip to Europe and to Rome. Emanuela was a fantastic host who made our family feel at home. From the thoughtful meat and cheese plate to the cold drinks and the espresso she made for us on arrival, not to mention the wealth of knowledge about the local sites Emanuela provided, she went above and beyond. The apartment is ideally situated to make walking to all the major sites easy and enjoyable! Don't forget to visit the bakery downstairs for a yummy, diverse and inexpensive selection of treats. They are a few supermarkets close by and the apartment has a fridge and stove so cooking is a great option if you don't want to eat out all the time. Don't forget to bring your refillable water bottle to take advantage of all the free water fountains located all over the city while you explore. This was the trip of a lifetime for my family and I would highly recommend Emanuela's cute little apartment to all those looking to have an authentic and memorable roman experience!

Great location and clean charming place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was excellent in communicating with us and was very helpful with any questions we had. The place was immaculate and well-stocked with complimentary drinks, coffee, and teas. The stove functioned perfectly, and we were delighted to find pizzas ready for us upon arrival. The location was central to attractions and restaurants, making it convenient to return to the apartment for a midday rest. The only minor issue was that the air conditioner struggled to cool the entire apartment, likely due to the extremely hot weather outside. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

First, just wanted to say Emanuela was fantastic! Communication from early on when I made the reservations and through the trip! She had pizza and pie waiting for us upon arrival as well as helped us reserve taxis and suggestions. We chose this place back in January when we reserved it because of the “washing machine” which I come to find out they didn’t have one. Was told they sent something out regarding this change but I didn’t see it. The shower fills up with water rather quickly and we learned to take quick showers because the water gets cold. The Jewish Ghetto that we stayed in was amazing! So much history and the people are so kind and welcoming. I loved it! Great food in this area. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to find a laundry mat or drop off garbage as our days were jammed packed with reservations /activities and site seeing . We jammed a-lot in 4 days and were off to the next city. In honesty this place is charming, I think it’s better suited for 2 people, not a-lot of room. We have two 17 year olds and they slept on the pull out couch in the kitchen but we were aware if this and figured we would be so busy doing the sites. Overall I gave it a high rating because of the host and communication.

Location location location

In the heart of the Jewish ghetto. Walking distance to mostly everything. Only issue is the is in a pedestrian plaza, no cars or taxis allowed. Around a 50 meter distance . Host was wonderful. She left us some various pizzas, baked a cake for us and left wine and chocolate. She greeted us and showed us where everything was and even made us a cup of real Italian espresso. A very nice stay.

There’s so much to say about this amazing little gem in Italy. From the moment we arrived, we were in love with this quaint little apartment and its owner. We will definitely book here again. The owner greeted us upon arrival, making us comfortable instantly. She went above and beyond to make us welcomed and at the same time did not hover. I won’t give too much away, but my time at the window was one of my favorite things. The area was centrally located and we could walk everywhere and if we did not feel like it, there was a taxi stand right down the way. We felt completely safe in the area. Plenty of dining options nearby and we were so tired we even Uber’s one night. I’m positive I’m leaving so much out but the main thing is all in its name “Unforgettable Roman Holiday”… and that’s what it was. For an unforgettable enchanting time in Rome feel free to book this amazing little place. ❤️
