We really needed the break from a long trip to a pure relaxed state within driving up the driveway surrounded by nature. We enjoyed every moment from the hot tub experience to a wonderful hist Marco who takes you not only on a culinary journey but also a personal journey of how he became the first boutique hotel in Norway. An experience to remember and take away knowing you have been well looked after. The food journey was incredible with a personal touch of pure passion for what he does, giving a true experience. Lovely quiet B&B with amazing views. Great base to explore the area with really helpful staff and wonderful food.

Dinner was great and people that worked in the restaurant were very helpful. Check in was fast and easy. The slide at the pool left me with painful bruises. We had booked horseback riding through the providerer recommended by the hotel. We received no confirmation email and no instructions of where to go. We went to the provider's stables which were 45 minutes away. Then, we find out we were supposed to go to the hotel and the riding will have to go on without us. Then we got a call telling us to go back to the stables. Then we get a text telling us to go to the hotel. We turned around several times. The hotel says the privider will have to reimburse us and the provider won't respond.

After arriving at the accommodation, we experienced an unpleasant shock. It is a beautifully designed apartment on the third floor - maisonette type. However, the accommodation is shabby and equipped with old furniture of all kinds. Bedroom: musty duvets and pillows. Closets full of stuff - you can't tell if it's washed or used. Shelves attached in such a way that you fear they will come off. There is nowhere to store your clothes. Living room: Settee and armchairs pushed in and dirty upholstery. Many electrical cords plugged into an extension cord. Many lights were off. Unorganized dishes in the kitchen and some dirty dishes. No towels. We had to wash all the dishes beforehand. Dirty extractor hood - a deposit of greasy dust on the filter. Undried bed linen in the bathrooms. If I pay €180 for cleaning, I don't expect to have to wash and dry clothes one after the other. Plus, I can't wait in the apartment for the laundry to dry because I'm blocking the cleaning lady. 3x Bathrooms - no towels, there was no soap at all or it was diluted with water. The apartment was not cleaned upon arrival. Bottles, cans in the kitchen. A full ashtray on the balcony. Old shoes thrown in the corner. Dishwasher not emptied. The trash cans in the toilets were not taken out. The owner charges 180 EURO for the final cleaning. We immediately called the owner and asked him to refund the cleaning fee. We suggested that we clean the apartment before our departure, No answer from him.
