The lighthouse cottage has water views but does not have water access on site. We expect our guests to respect the privacy of our neighbors. Water access is available with 3 sites within 6 miles. Bertie Beach is 30 minutes away. The house is close to Edenton, Elizabeth City, Columbia, Plymouth, the original Washington, Belhaven, Lake Mattamuskeet, Lake Phelps, and the Outer Banks. With 4 cozy bedrooms including two queen beds, 1 full bed, and a bunk bed, guests will have plenty of space to unwind. The bunk bed is full over full and is suitable for adults. The 3 bathrooms have all the essentials, including a hairdryer and a refreshing shower. This enjoyable retreat offers heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a whole-house Eero network, a washing machine, and more for a fantastic stay. The lighthouse cottage will help you feel at home while traveling in The Albemarle Sound area. The kitchen and dining room combination has 6 seats at the main table and 3 seats at the secondary table. The Great Room has a spacious sectional and a cozy setup with comfortable seating. Easy breezy comfortable

We stayed here for Easter weekend. Waking up to the view of the Albemarle sound was lovely. The home is so charming and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.. We had everything we needed for a great family weekend to celebrate Easter together. We were greeted when we arrived and retreated very well and acquainted with the property. It’s a great inexpensive getaway fully recommend. Mackey’s Marina restaurant ( The Landing?) right down the road had a great dinner also.

Quiet, relaxing area

We enjoyed the roominess of the house. The gas fireplace in the kitchen was so cozy and warm. We were visiting family and prepared Thanksgiving dinner and the house had all the pots, pans and dishes that we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is quiet, clean, and easy to access. The hosts were wonderful and responsive to our needs. Bathrooms are a little small, but the kitchen, dining, and living room are spacious. The house certainly met our group needs and I would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Everyone is our group (fishing trip in nearby rivers) enjoyed the stay at the house. We had plenty of room to park our boats and plenty of room inside the house for everyone to get a good night's rest after fishing all day.
