Cheap Hotels in Rothenburg Old Town

The breakfast was more than we needed, so we did not spend the extra money for a large breakfast. My husband enjoyed a beer outside at the table in the sun.

Traditional Bavarian decor. We enjoyed the options for eating/drinks: Restaurant, breakfast room, plus outdoor patio right at the edgge of old town Rothenburg. We received a warm welcome & our waitresses were wonderful. Friendly staff ✔️ A charming smaller hotel that was an excellent experience.

We have just spent a week in suite 34 of this wonderful hotel . A very special place in the centre of Rothenburg , with views from our balcony which were wonderful . Every morning a wonderful candle lit breakfast served by Karin , who couldn’t do enough for us . The staff here really care if you’re happy in the hotel and couldn’t do enough to help with restaurant recommendations at night . The town itself has an amazing variety of restaurants from Chinese , Indian , Greek and a Michelin restaurant alongside very good German restaurants . The wines here are superb . Tobias on reception was a gem and even posted our postcards , helped us with our cases and gave very good restaurant recommendations. Axel , who manned the reception alongside his son Tobias was also a gem , very friendly and happy to see we were happy with their hotel . Really all the staff here are so lovely . You can sit outside the hotel from mid morning onwards enjoying their lunch menu and wonderful wines . We will certainly be back for another week ! and being frequent travellers I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel , very memorable . Thankyou all at the hotel .

Loved our stay here! We were right in the center of Rothenburg ob der Tauber so everything is just steps away. Super clean room. The amazing staff speaks flawless English and took great care of us including helping with our luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast is varied and ample. The only downsides are due to the fact you are in a medieval town in a medieval updated building hence no elevator and minimal expensive parking.

Amazing staff, lovely property in the heart of old town and good breakfast. Definitely recommend.
