We had a great short stay at this hotel in Knoxville. All the staff, from the front desk to the valets, were kind and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed, the breakfast was good, and everything was clean.

Nearly all the staff was extremely nice. but that did not make up for the dated property with an uncomfortable bed. Neighborhood was dirty and felt unsafe. Maybe when UT is back in session it won't feel like such a deserted wasteland. But this was a Saturday evening in July.

Needs some Love on the Facilities.

The staff was just fine. There was on total fee of $116 that was not mentioned anywhere before we arrived. I knew there would be one but that was higher than anticipated. The elevators were not working correctly and we were on the 8th floor with our dogs so it took forever to get down to the lobby. Also, the pool was out of order for maintenance. They should have said this somewhere. We would have stayed somewhere else if we knew this ahead of time. The room was cozy, good beds, but we couldn't get hot water to shower. Very strange.

The hotel was nice. The rooms smelled good and the beds were comfortable. The towels were fluffy. The room was overall clean. Attention to detail in the bathroom could have been improved. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service. When looking for a hotel- that was part of the search criteria because of our kids. That was a bummer to hear when checking in. They arranged for us to use the pool at the YMCA- a very cool old building, but the pool was not family friendly. The 4 lanes were for older gentlemen to swim laps in their speedos watched by an older gentleman lifeguard who tried not to make eye contact with us- mostly- we felt so uncomfortable with the kids splashing or making any noise in the lane that they played in. So- boooo on the pool being out of order. Overall- lovely. We’d stay again.

Comfort and kindness

They always say hospitality in the south is the best - and this hotel truly reflects that. The manager, Will, was so kind and helpful the morning we arrived after missing a connection flight. My family was broken and tired and Will gave us comfort in knowing he was taking care of us! Thank you much!

Overnight stay

I needed extra pillows to prop up on while sleeping due to being pregnant. We checked in after housekeeping had left, the consierge had no problem going to get the pillows for me. Thanks to him I was able to have a comfortable sleep!
