This will be the start of a very long review, please read. Me and my partner had a rough start after my car broke down. We arrived via a local driver whom was very helpful and even helped us take our bags up to the porch which was caught on a ring video camera not a doorbell and I was immediately charged a third person fee for our rental without question because we were being surveillanced. I was told a ring camera was in the description of the property but I couldnt find it but regardless I would only expect it to be used as security under scrutiny and not to be used without respect of privacy. The property lacks yard maintenance, the steps up were covered in foxtails which are noxious weeds that get in your socks and shoes and surprised the fire marshall hasnt reported. Part of the aluminum soffet was hanging down also. The railing was loose on the porch and the decking hasnt been sanded or sealed for quite some time and full of splinters. I was trying to share with my partner the place i I grew up because Lake Arrowhead is where I grew up and found everyone there very friendly and honest but the hosts as much as they want to say this is their retreat I find dishonest and believe they are trying to make a quick buck with subpar accommodation. Also found an exposed nail head in the kitchen in a trafficked area that me and my partner both caught our foot on which I took pictures of but can't upload to VRBO even though they say you can. Avoid this property at all costs.
