Hyatt Regency Sacramento is conveniently located within walking distance of the State Capitol and plenty of food options. The building is older, but it’s well-maintained and kept in good condition. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay.

Lesson learned not an ideal place for a family. Inside, felt kinda safe, but as you go out of the hotel, lots of inappropriate adults under the influence and sidewalks full with homelessness. The air reeked. We had chosen this area because we wanted to tour the old train museum. I would say I would go back if it was just a couples weekend.

Hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was construction going on across the street. Very nice local park to walk in but a lot of homeless people sleeping there.

Great Hotel with a fun pool

Hotel was great and in a nice location. We enjoyed spending time at the pool and hotel bar as well. Just keep in mind, the pool is pretty small and kids will most likely be splashing around all over the place, so if you want to relax in a quiet pool, this isn't the place.
