We had a great stay here! We came here for one night for a conference. This hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the convention center. This hotel just opened this year, and it is super clean! The rooms are also very spacious! We slept great! There is a train nearby, but I didn't hear it at all until about 9am the next day. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, and the lobby was decorated for Christmas and it was so cute! The breakfast in the morning was decent, a pretty standard continental, but the woman who runs it is so friendly! It does cost $12 a night for parking, which is honestly pretty cheap for hotel overnight parking in a city. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros - The facility is clean and the Christmas decor in the lobby and around the hotel is awesome.
Cons - The kinks are far from being worked out. We had to call down to the front desk so many times - hair conditioner bottle was empty, towels for 2 but we had 5 guests, guest room TVs cannot connect to anything other than the Marriott Bonvoy ads for vast majority of our stay, replacement set of bedding for pull-out couch bed, etc. Each of these requests had to be made several times before the items actually arrived.
A large portion of the carpet to our 1 bedroom suite was wet and bottom of our luggage bags was completely wet on the bottom, plus it had a nasty smell of animal. I asked for a different room and was given one on the 2nd floor, which was way better. But when we went to use the comforter that was in the bag in the closet, it had a nasty smell and had several stains of blood or food or who knows what, which i requested a new comforter and didn’t received one til later afternoon the next day. And since we had the room at the very end of the hallway on the 2nd floor, it was easier to take the back stairs to get to our car but within returning that evening from the same door, the keycard didn’t work so we had to go through the front entrance thinking it was probably the door but the keycard didn’t work for us to get back into our room as well, so had to walk all the to the front desk to get new key cards so we could get into our room. Worst experience I’ve stayed at any Marriot places.
The room was not as clean as it should have been. My wife stepped on somebody else's toe nail that was in the carpet. The breakfast was not very good. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and just wonderful people. The girl that checked us in was awesome and the lady in the breakfast room Vie was outstanding. She went out of her way to make breakfast as wonderful as possible. It was sad that they use powdered eggs.
Room was in overall good condition. However, upon checking in, we found that the kitchen area had not been completely cleaned up. The prior occupant apparently left food scraps from one of the refrigerated microwaveable meals similar to those sold on the property by front desk, stuck to the sides of the kitchenette sink. There was also a packet of the dishwasher powder that had been partially used thrown on the inside of the cabinet where the garbage can goes. Some of the powdered cleaning contents were scattered onto the inside of the cabinet there, as well as, the floor in front of the cabinet and onto the carpet area in the living room. The trash in the trash bin had not been thrown either, which was almost full. We contacted the front desk as asked for a new trash can liner and for someone to come take away the trash. Staff was very kind and professional and rendered assistance promptly. I was told to remove the bag and tie the top off on it, then to place it outside the front door of the room to await maintenance person. Maintenance man came and brought me a liner and removed the bag of trash from the front of my doorway entrance. He also brought me two brand new rolls of toilet paper (which I did not ask for nor need) so I put them away n the bathroom cabinet. I used my personal handheld car vacuum to pickup the dishwasher powder from the kitchen floor cabinet and living room carpet area. This made us a bit leery as to the cleanliness of the room for sure.
