Imagine a peaceful getaway in an old mill nestled on the banks of the “Creuse” river in Berry and within the Brenne Regional Natural Park. If you dream of a vacation far from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Mill offers a unique experience to recharge your batteries and reconnect with nature.
The Mill is located in an exceptional natural setting. You can relax on the private terrace, listen to the gentle murmur of the river and enjoy the wonderful view of the green surroundings.
This accommodation is housed in a former water mill, preserving its authentic charm. Historic features have been carefully restored, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although authenticity has been preserved in the renovation, comfort and modern amenities make for a pleasant stay. On the ground floor: friendly space that can be used as a summer kitchen with a huge wooden table but also as a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and sink. Direct access to the private terrace and the island. Independent WC with hand basin. Unheated space.
On the 1st floor: living room with lounge and fireplace, dining room and kitchen.
On the 2nd floor: landing with a reading corner enjoying a direct view of the "Creuse" river, a bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm), a bathroom with toilet. A sleeping area n°2 with 2 single beds (90x200 cm)
On the 3rd floor on the mezzanine: a sleeping area n°3 with a double bed (140x190 cm). The stairs are quite steep and not very wide to access the mezzanine.
Possibility of 3 additional beds on request (€15 supplement per person): 1 single bed in bedroom no. 1
Outside: At the front of the gîte, possibility of parking several vehicles, at the rear private terrace above the river and access to the island.
The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and trash cans), heating and electricity with reasonable and reasonable consumption - if the gîte's heating is electric you have 15 Kwh per day (the excess will have to be paid on site to the hosts).
