The Dordogne river is just a 2km walk from the house along a level cycle pathway that leads you to the local bakery and small shops, post office and restaurants. Here you can also hire canoes and paddle down the river. Its a perfect locations to set out to see the historical sites and many market villages or simply to lay around under the walnut trees to relax and to read .
