Decent budget alternative to Basel hotels

The apartment was as advertised, yet a little difficult to find; we would have appreciated more specific directions. It had generous space for a one-bedroom apartment and was satisfactorily furnished for our 4-night stay. The owner was responsive when we had problems accessing the internet. There were several maintenance issues that we reported to the owner, including a smart TV that was not connected to the internet (no ability to stream) nor to cable or local on-air TV stations. Despite the positives about the location and price, the apartment is in need of maintenance which should be addressed soon.
