There are just a few places to stay within a 10-kilometre radius of the heart of Sal, so make sure to book long before your planned trip if you're planning on basing yourself in a centrally located Sal hotel.

Even though Sal is hardly brimming with hotel choices, the Murdeira Village Resort is close enough to the city centre to keep you happy.

The ClubHotel Riu Funana - All Inclusive can be found 13 kilometres from the centre of Sal. Or, alternatively, the Meliá Tortuga Beach - All Inclusive is situated 12 kilometres away. Some more hotel and apartment options worth checking out are the VOI Vila do Farol Resort and the ClubHotel Riu Garopa - All Inclusive.

The closest accommodation options in Cape Verde include Santa Maria and Sal Rei. Santa Maria is 13 kilometres to the south of Sal, while Sal Rei is 60 kilometres to the south of Sal. Hotels and apartments in Santa Maria are the Crioula Club Hotel and Resort and Hotel Dunas de Sal. Sal Rei hotels are the A Paz Residence B&B and Casa Velha Resort.
