Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
On a positive note...
The views and location were pleasant. The apartment was very spacious with a nice long terrace outside. Receptionists were kind enough to book a taxi for us.
The negatives...
Was so disappointed by the cleanliness of the whole apartment. The sofas were both stained. Crockery and cutlery were put straight into the dishwasher to be cleaned as soon as we arrived. But then realised that the dishwasher needed a cleaner through it aswell!... The arms were full of eggshell and bits of food so was not actually doing much cleaning itself! Under the beds were filthy, dust had obviously accumulated over time. Pillows were stained. Both bathrooms had a terrible smell, could possibly be the drainage in the shower cubicles?
I understood that sheets and towels were included but we would need to pay for them to be changed if required, fair enough. But they weren't included... We had to pay an extra 50 euros for them and were expected to make the beds ourselves!
We spent as little time as possible in the apartment. Very little lighting and not all bulbs were working so it was quite dark and gloomy.
The whole apartment needs a very good clean and could be refurbished for very little money... more lighting (even some lamps dotted around), sofa cushions replaced or even washed and dyed a darker colour. The smell in the bathrooms definitely needs fixing.
We travelled to Italy for a wedding and paid a lot of money to stay here for the week.
