The hotel was fine, the room was nice and the staff was cordial. There were several things I wish I had realized before booking this room though: 1) It is an extended stay which I guess means no one cleans your room. I was at the hotel for a week and a half. I could have asked for someone to clean it but it would have cost extra 2) Because no one cleaned my room, I had to take my towels to the front desk to swap them out for clean ones. This was okay, but it was not explicitly stated anywhere except on the hotel rules that were only avaialble at a website. 3) There were a lot of dogs on property which is great... except they were very loud. I had several occasions of dogs barking up and down the hallway and the walls are certainly far from soundproof. I think for the cost and for my purposes, I would have stayed somewhere else had I realized these things. For some people the apartment like living is what they are looking for and if that's the case for you, this is a great choice. I was looking for more of a hotel experience though, and would have rather had clean towels magically appear in my room every day or every other day than somewhere to cook.

Very loud, though they advertise they offer quiet rooms!!! You can hear every person walking in the hall, as if they were in the room with you and the children in the room across the hall were up playing until well after 11pm. I could hear them clear as day. Afternoon/night desk person was great. Morning/day person was not. The front desk called to say my dog was barking non-stop and accused me of intentionally not telling them I had a dog. There is no place on expedia to state you have a dog and they are a self check-in with no contact with a person. When exactly was I supposed to let them know and beg to pay for it? There was a dog barking at every noise in the hall when I checked in and entered my room with my luggage, no big deal. When I left the funeral I was attending and returned to the hotel to get my dog at their insistence, he was NOT barking and there were three maid carts in the hall, one right across from my room. This was one of the cheapest rooms in the city, but I'd rather pay slightly more to stay in a Motel 6 or 8 and be served by people and not a kiosk, people who know what customer service is and are kind, not condescending to those paying the bill.

Aside from barking dog next to me and not so soft bed, it was great! Very clean! A/C was perfect. You diffinately need pictures in rooms and in hallways. No desk if its a business trip. I guess you can work at the counter but the bar stools are very hard, uncomfortable plastic seats.

The room wasn’t very clean. That bathroom had dust and foreign hairs in the tub and shower shelves. The chairs and counter tops weren’t wiped down and neither was the microwave and refrigerator freezer. The pillows for the bed were thin or lumpy thicker on one side or the other. Over all the staff was nice except one guy was super rude to my mom acting like she was going to steal the towels when simply asked if we can get extra. The sink in the kitchen area was also dirty with specs of food. Overall, it was a good day just those few things. We did feel safe and there’s plenty of food choices nearby. Walmart and target are super close and even Sam’s Club.
